Digestive Health Foundation Ambassador Board Taste of Italy with Pizzeria Portofino and RPM

The Digestive Health Foundation Ambassador Board invites you to join us on Saturday, December 5th for a virtual tasting tour of Italy and hands-on pizza making event from the comfort of your own home!

RPM Wine Director, Richard Hanauer, and RPM and Pizza Portofino Chef, Sam Dickstein, will take you on a delicious and interactive journey of Italian wine and food. This fun evening will also feature brief greetings and remarks from the Digestive Health Foundation co-founders: Dr. Stephen B. Hanauer, Dr. John E. Pandolfino, and Dr. Scott A. Strong.

A $200 ticket for two includes: a four course meal of Italian appetizers, a Mediterranean salad, pizza making duo kit (Charred Pepperoni Pizza and Due Funghi Pizza), and dessert from Pizza Portofino kitchen by Chef Sam, paired with a Spritz Kit from Veneto and a bottle of Chianti Classico by Richard Hanauer. A $250 upgraded ticket features the above, with a bottle of Brunella di Montalcino in place of the Chianti Classico. Gluten free and dairy options are available.

Orders will be available for curbside pick-up at RPM Steak (66 W Kinzie St, Chicago, IL 60654) on Saturday, December 5th from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM) or Northbrook and Naperville private locations. DELIVERY is also available upon request. The live Zoom event begins at 5:00 PM. Once registered, you will receive the private link to access the event. Cut-off for registration is Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 11:59 pm.

For every package sold, $65 will be donated to the Digestive Health Foundation (DHF). DHF helps fund the research of physicians and scientists at Northwestern Medicine Digestive Health Center to help prevent, treat and ultimately cure a spectrum of digestive disorders. These diseases include: colon, pancreatic and esophageal cancers, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, celiac disease, swallowing disorders, hepatitis and other liver diseases, among others.
